Seventh Grade teacher Kent Stevens is the Chess Club sponsor this year. 

The Chess Club at Casey Middle School has been meeting weekly throughout the school year.  The club consists of mostly 6th & 7th graders this year.  We have around 14 students--half boys & half girls.  We have a wide range of skill levels and have been having little mini-tournaments in preparation for our end of the year tournament. 

Our big tournament will be after Spring Break and Scholar Bowl season, as several members are also on the Scholar Bowl team.
