The Bluford Pre-Kindergarten class visited Brehm Library in Mt. Vernon on November 9.  Children's librarian, Sharon Yearwood, read three books to the preschoolers--Bun Bun Button, 20 Hungry Piggies, & Pumpkin Soup--and asked them to join her in singing, "Head & Shoulders, Knees & Toes."  The youngsters were then invited to play puzzles or look at books, with the help of their parent or grandparent.  Mrs. Yearwood reminded the group that adults in Jefferson County qualify for FREE library cards that enable them to check out 20 items
for a two-week period.
