We at Head Start believe that parents are the children's most important teachers. Children learn by doing. A child's experiences provide the foundation for his/her future accomplishments. Success in the early years encourages a love for learning enhanced by a positive self-image. To promote learning by doing, the child's classroom environment is designed to meet the individual needs of all children. Parents are a vital part of our program. Parents are the PRIMARY educators of their children. We encourage parents to be an active participant in their child's learning, both at home and school.
